Nearly 8000 Transcription Factor Antibodies – Fully Characterized and Validated

Transcription factors are proteins that regulate gene expression by binding to DNA via one or more DNA-binding domains. Once bound to DNA directly or as part of a complex, they can promote or inhibit RNA polymerase recruitment, thereby acting as activators or repressors, respectively. Transcription factors can function downstream of signaling cascades triggered by biological (e.g. development, disease) or environmental (e.g. hypoxia, hyperthermia) stimuli to alter the expression of target genes. Transcription factors can also function as oncogenes or tumor suppressors.

Aviva offers antibodies targeting different domains of transcription factors, including antibodies specific for post-translational modifications on transcription factors.
